Total Immersion Analysis

At CMCS we have found that whilst program reviews are always beneficial, some approaches have simply failed to walk the walk and talk the talk with both the coaches and the administrators within the sport. We believe that to provide a truly holistic review, one must invest a significant amount of time with both of these key stakeholders as they operate within their daily working environment.

To help facilitate this, CMCS have created the Total Immersion Analysis, which is one of our most innovative and detailed approaches to analysing a coaching program. This approach enables our team to totally immerse ourselves within an organisation and the sport in which it operates. This then allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the systems used by the administrative team to facilitate coach development and the successful, or unsuccessful, implementation of those programs by coaches out in the field. We have also found that this type of approach can often uncover systemic or cultural issues that other reviews may have failed to identify.
